Account Information

When you create an account via Clerk authentication, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled securely by Clerk.

Social Media Connections

When you connect YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram accounts, we store encrypted OAuth tokens to enable publishing on your behalf. We access only the permissions you explicitly grant:

• YouTube: Upload videos, read channel information
• TikTok: Upload videos to your inbox, read basic profile info
• Instagram: Publish Reels, read basic profile info

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 (Fernet) encryption. You can disconnect any social account at any time from your Settings page, which immediately deletes stored tokens.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, niches created, and clips processed. This data is used to improve the Service and is never sold to third parties.

Video Content

Videos you download and clips generated through the Service are stored in secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). Video content is associated with your account and is not accessible to other users.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process video downloads, scene detection, and AI clip analysis
• To publish content to connected social media platforms on your behalf
• To send trending alerts and notifications you have opted into
• To process billing and subscription management via Stripe

• Clerk — Authentication and user management
• Stripe — Payment processing (we never store card details)
• Cloudflare R2 — Secure video and clip storage
• Google (YouTube Data API) — Video publishing to YouTube
• TikTok (Content Posting API) — Video publishing to TikTok
• Meta (Instagram Platform API) — Reels publishing to Instagram
• OpenAI / Google AI — AI-powered clip analysis and tagging
• Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Video clips and processed content are retained according to your subscription tier storage limits. When you delete your account, all associated data including stored OAuth tokens, videos, clips, and personal information is permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.3), encrypted token storage (AES-256/Fernet), secure cloud infrastructure, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Disconnect social media accounts at any time
• Export your data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
